Meanwhile, bloodstock.racingpost.com reports Goffs chief executive Henry Beeby is equally effusive about a Chinese involvement at European sales, observing: "We've been aware that Chinese buyers have been purchasing in Ireland on a private basis for the last 12 to 18 months… So we're hoping that that will lead to them buying at public auction… It is certainly encouraging that they have been buying above the radar in Australia this week and it would be nice to think that will roll out to other sales in different parts of the world. We are very confident that what we've got will appeal to the Chinese market."
