Teofilo Adds Irish Black-Type

Monday, 8th April 2013

At The Curragh in Ireland, unbeaten European Champion juvenile & dual Gr1-winning Darley stallion shuttler Teofilo (Galileo-Speirbhean, by Danehill) added a black-type success when 2011's Gr1 Dewhurst Stakes-winning 4YO entire Parish Hall (Teofilo-Halla Siamsa, by Montjeu) returned after 18 months away from racing to score first-up by 1.5-lengths for trainer Jim Bolger in the Listed Alleged Stakes (11 furlongs), over 6YO gelding Inis Meain (Bernstein-Runaway Fields, by Runaway Groom) & 7YO gelding Steps To Freedom (Statue of Liberty-Dhakhirah, by Sadler's Wells). Parish Hall now has 3 wins & 2 runners-up (including the Irish Gr2 Futurity Stakes over 7 furlongs at The Curragh & Gr3 Tyros Stakes over 7 furlongs at Leopardstown) from 6 starts.
