US$4.5 Million Mare Produces Bernardini Filly

Pure Prize mare Pure Clan, sold for US$4.5 million to a partnership between Three Chimney's & Brazil's TNT Stud at Keeneland November last year, has produced a filly foal by triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler & US Eclipse Award-winning stallion Bernardini (A.P.Indy-Cara Rafaela, by Quiet American). One of the most expensive mares sold in the world last year, bloodstock.racingpost.com reports that dual Gr1 winner Pure Clan "has a yearling filly by Smart Strike and is due to visit Tapit this season".
