US 6-Time Gr1-Winner Holy Bull Retired From Stud Duty

US 1994 Horse-Of-The-Year & 6-time Gr1-winning stallion Holy Bull (Great Above-Sharon Brown, by Al Hattab) has been retired from stud duty at Darley America's Jonabell Farm (where he has stood since 1996) aged 21. From 15 crops to race, Holy Bull has sired 44 stakes-winners (including 2005 Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo, 2000 US Champion Juvenile Macho Uno, plus Gr1-winners Flashy Bull, Confessional, Bishop Court Hill & Pohave) & the earners of over US$45 million. On the track himself, Holy Bull recorded 13 wins (including the Gr1 Florida Derby, Gr1 Blue Grass Stakes, Gr1 Metropolitan Handicap, Gr1 Woodward Stakes, Gr1 Haskell Invitational Handicap & Gr1 Travers Stakes) from 16 starts for US$2,481,760 earnings.
