E-Trakka Sets New Gr1 Benchmark Data Resource

Wednesday, 7th December 2011

Equine technology company Equitronics (E-Trakka) has now gathered 20,000 readings from racehorses, among them recent autumn carnival winners Pinker Pinker (Gr1 Cox Plate), Mosheen (Gr1 VRC Oaks), Lucky Grey (Gr1 Railway Stakes) & Ortensia (Gr1 Winterbottom Stakes). Working closely with their respective trainers Greg Eurell, Robert Smerdon, Gino Poletti and Paul Messara, Equitronics managing director Andrew Stuart notes that the knowledge base established is proving a highly valuable resource for trainers to benchmark their own horses against in determining underlying ability and preferred race distances. Equitronics is also currently launching a new product which uses military precision GPS technology to accurately measure stride length, and which can be used in conjunction with E-Trakka.
