2 Sections Of Lindsay Park Stud For Sept Auction

Friday, 29th July 2011

The east & western sections “of the historic racehorse breeding establishment Lindsay Park at Angaston in South Australia will be auctioned on September 2” reported The Australian Financial Review. Lindsay Park Racing general manager David Saegenschnitter said the 2 properties “were expected to fetch over $2 million each”. He said the entire estate (including the main homestead) had “price expectations of around $14 million when advertised last year” but the main section (including the homestead) had since been withdrawn, noting: “The east & western sections don’t have the specialised improvements that the main section has. Consequently, from a value point of view, they’re more within reach of a lot more people.”
