Qld Hendra Seminar At Westbrook Thurs Evening

Meanwhile with the Hendra virus claiming Queensland’s 1st victim on the western side of the Great Dividing Range (following the death of a horse on a property in Chinchilla last weekend) “there is a lot of fear in rural communities at the moment about the disease” reported abc.net.au. In response, Biosecurity Queensland & the Queensland Horse Council are holding a free Hendra Virus Seminar at the Westbrook Tavern (south-west of Toowoomba) from 6.30-8.30pm tomorrow (Thursday 28 July) featuring Dr Fiona Thompson from Biosecurity Queensland & Debra Dekker from the Queensland Horse Council.
