Miss Tipsy Topsy Wins Belmont Classic

Shuttler Spinning World (Nureyev-Imperfect Circle, by Riverman) added a black-type success when daughter Miss Tipsy Topsy (Spinning World-Renadah, by Danewin) notched her 2nd successive stakes win in a fortnight when she scored by a long-neck against the males in the $80,000 Listed Belmont Classic (2200m) for 3YOs at Belmont Park in Perth. Miss Tipsy Topsy (ridden by Jason Whiting for trainer Stan Bates) defeated fellow filly Svara (Blackfriars-Jevanswer, by Serheed) & favoured gelding Black Moment (Blackfriars-Monetary, by Southern Appeal). Miss Tipsy Topsy took her record to 3 wins (also including last start’s Listed Belmont Oaks over 2000m on July 9) & 7 placings from 14 starts for $139,895 earnings.
