It's Tricky Wins US Gr1 Coaching Club American Oaks

Consistent It’s Tricky (Mineshaft-Catboat, by Tale Of The Cat) also notched her 2nd successive US Gr1 triumph with a 0.75-length victory in the US$250,000 Gr1 Coaching Club American Oaks (9 furlongs) for 3YO fillies at Saratoga in New York. It’s Tricky (ridden by Eddie Castro for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin) defeated front-running favourite Plum Pretty (Medaglia d'Oro-Liszy, by A.P.Indy) & Royal Delta (Empire Maker-Delta Princess, by A.P.Indy). It’s Tricky took her record to 5 wins (also including June’s Gr1 Acorn Stakes over 8 furlongs at Belmont Park & February’s Listed Busher Stakes over 8.5 furlongs at Aqueduct) from 6 starts for US$438,000 earnings.
