7th Winner For Freshman Shuttler Teofilo

In Ireland overnight, unbeaten European Champion juvenile & dual Gr1-winning 7YO freshman stallion shuttler Teofilo (Galileo-Speirbhean, by Danehill) recorded his 7th 1st-crop winner (plus black-type quinella, 2nd stakes-winner & 1st group winner) when UK-bred juvenile daughter Remember Alexander (Teofilo-Nausicaa, by Diesis) came from the rear of the field to race away for a 4-lengths victory against the males in the €47,500 (A$64,000) Gr3 Tyros Stakes (7 furlongs) for 2YOs at Leopardstown. Remember Alexander (ridden by Johnny Murtagh for trainer Jessica Harrington) defeated the colts Parish Hall (Teofilo-Halla Siamsa, by Montjeu) & favourite Tenth Star (Dansili-Alpha Lupi, by Rahy). Remember Alexander was a 47,000 guineas (A$73,000) weanling at the 2009 UK Tattersalls December Sale & later a 120,000 guineas (A$186,000) yearling at the 2010 Tattersalls October Sale; overall he now has a win & a runner-up from 3 starts for €34,615 (A$46,700) earnings.
