2nd-Round Hendra Tests Clear At Beaudesert

Meanwhile in Queensland, a “number of people who came into contact with a horse that contracted Hendra virus at a property near Beaudesert have returned negative test results to a 2nd round of blood tests” reported abc.net.au. Ray Weber (who owns the property at Kerry near Beaudesert where a horse fell sick a month ago) declared: “We’re pretty over the moon. It's a big sigh of relief. They told us from the start that we'd probably be a low risk to it all anyway. But it was always in the back of your mind if you did have it.” However Weber noted “they still have one more round of testing before they can be given the all-clear”.
