Elusive Quality Adds US Black-Type

Former shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a US black-type success when 7YO entire Native Ruler (Elusive Quality-Tajannub, by Dixieland Band) scored a 3.25-lengths victory in the US$50,000 Listed Don Bernhardt Stakes (6.5 furlongs) at Ellis Parl in Kentucky. Native Ruler (ridden by Jamie Theriot for trainer Chris Richard) defeated 6YO gelding A Diehl (Aldebaran-Dream Deal, by Sharpen Up) & 5YO entire Snapshot (Awesome Again-Cajun Flash, by Bertrando). Native Ruler (a US$75,000 yearling at the 2005 Keeneland September Sale) now has 17 wins (also including January’s Listed King Cotton Stakes over 6 furlongs at Oaklawn Park, plus 2010’s Listed Harvey Arneault Memorial Stakes over 6 furlongs at Mountaineer Park & Listed Don Bernhardt Stakes over 6.5 furlongs at Ellis Park, as well as 2009's Listed Prairie Meadows Sprint Stakes over 6 furlongs Prairie Meadows, Listed Prairie Express Stakes over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows & Listed King Cotton Stakes over 6 furlongs at Oaklawn Park, in addition to 2008's Listed Bet On Sunshine Stakes over 6 furlongs at Churchill Downs & Listed Iowa Sprint Handicap over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows, plus 2006's Listed Chenery Stakes over 5.5 furlongs at Colonial Downs) & 8 placings (including both May’s Listed Prairie Express Stakes over 6 furlongs at Prairie Meadows & March’s Listed Hot Springs Stakes over 6 furlongs at Oaklawn Park, plus 2009's Listed Premier Breeders' Cup Stakes over 6 furlongs at Zia Park & 2008's Listed Prairie Meadows Sprint Stakes over 6 furlongs) from 38 starts for US$662,516 earnings.
