US Sire Unbridled Jet Killed By Lightning Strike

US Gr2-placed 15-year-old stallion Unbridled Jet (Unbridled-Easy Summer, by Easy Goer) “died when he was hit by lightning in a sudden storm at Sleeter Farm in Clementon in New Jersey” reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Farm owner Kurt Sleeter said he was “calling in” Unbridled Jet “when a bolt of lightning struck”, killing the veteran stallion instantly. Unbridled Jet currently ranks 3rd on the New Jersey sire list for this season. He began his stallion career in 2001 at Country Life Farm in Maryland & moved to Sleeter Farm in 2007, where he stood for US$2,000 this year.
