Monday, 11th July 2011

Former Victorian shuttler Mr Greeley (Gone West-Long Legend, by Reviewer) added a US black-type success when 6YO entire Terriffico (Mr Greeley-Luvina, by Forest Wildcat) scored by a neck in the US$76,000 Listed Leemat Stakes (8 furlongs) at Presque Isle Downs in Pennsylvania. Terriffico (ridden by Willie Martinez for trainer Adolfo Exposito) defeated 4YO gelding Ryan’s Gift (Bernstein-Annie's Tuff, by Lil's Lad) & 6YO gelding Pocket Patch (Partner's Hero-Cynicism, by Riverman). Terriffico took his record to 5 wins & 10 placings (including 2008’s Listed Lil E Tee Handicap over 6 furlongs at Presque Isle Downs & 2007’s Listed High Yield Stakes over 5.5 furlongs at Philadelphia Park) from 38 starts for US$275,937 earnings.
