1st Aust Winner For Boom UK Sire Dansili

Boom Juddmonte Farms-owned & UK Banstead Manor-based stallion Dansili (Danehill-Hasili, by Kahyasi) recorded his 1st Australian winner when 2YO filly Soft Sand (Dansili-Mizzle, by Rahy) scored over 1000m at Bendigo in Victoria yesterday for trainer Colin Little. Soft Sand was a $160,000 yearling consigned by Yarraman Park at the 2010 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney. She was 1 of 10 yearlings produced by mares served by Dansili to southern hemisphere time & brought to Australia in 2007. Their Gr2-winning & triple Gr1-placed sire Dansili is the leading stallion in France & was last year's leading British-based sire; his 7 Gr1-winning offspring includ2 last year's world champion Harbinger, plus Rail Link, Zambezi Sun, Zoffany, Passage Of Time, Proviso & Price Tag. Dansili stands in the UK for £65,000 (A$130,000).
