Dual Derby-winning shuttler & 6-time Gr1 victor High Chaparral (Sadler's Wells-Kasora, by Darshaan) added a UK Gr1 triumph former Australian superstar & now 7-time Gr1-winning 4YO entire So You Think (High Chaparral-Triassic, by Tights) scored a half-length victory in the £400,000 (A$612,000) Gr1 Coral-Eclipse Stakes (10 furlongs) at Sandown. Favourite So You Think (ridden by Seamus Heffernan for trainer Aidan O’Brien) defeated last year’s Gr1 English Derby & Gr1 French Arc De Triomphe-wining 4YO entire Workforce (King's Best-Soviet Moon, by Sadler's Wells) with a further 5-lengths back to 5YO Sri Putra (Oasis Dream-Wendylina, by In The Wings) who finished runner-up in this race last year. So You Think (a NZ$110,000 yearling consigned from Windsor Park at the 2008 NZB Premier Sale at Karaka) now boasts 11 wins (also including both May’s Irish Gr1 Tattersalls Gold Cup over 10.5 furlongs at The Curragh & Irish Gr3 Mooresbridge Stakes over 10 furlongs at The Curragh, plus 2010's Gr1 Cox Plate over 2040m at Mooney Valley, Gr1 Yalumba Stakes over 2000m at Caulfield, Gr1 Underwood Stakes over 1800m at Caulfield & Gr2 Memsie Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield, as well as 2009's Gr1 Cox Plate over 2040m at Moonee Valley & Gr3 Gloaming Stakes over 1800m at Rosehill) & 4 placings (in June’s UK Gr1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes over 10 furlongs at Royal Ascot, plus 2010's Gr1 Melbourne Cup over 3200m at Flemington, as well as both 2009's Gr1 Emirates Stakes over 1600m at Flemington & Listed Ming Dynasty Quality Handicap over 1400m at Randwick) from 16 starts for £3,493,359 (A$5.345m) earnings.
