Smiling Tiger Wins US Gr1 Triple Bend Handicap

Swettenham Stud shuttler & former Gr1-winning juvenile Hold That Tiger (Storm Cat-Beware Of The Cat, by Caveat) added a US Gr1 triumph when 4YO entire Smiling Tiger (Hold That Tiger-Shandra Smiles, by Cahill Road) scored a 3.25-lengths victory in the US$250,000 Gr1 Triple Bend Handicap (7 furlongs) at Hollywood Park. Smiling Tiger (ridden by Joel Rosario for trainer Jeff Bonde) defeated 4YO gelding Camp Victory (Forest Camp-Victory Trick, by Clever Trick) & 5YO gelding Amazombie (Northern Afleet-Wilshe Amaze, by In Excess).
