Danehill Dancer Adds France Gr3

Monday, 4th July 2011

Former shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a French group success overnight when former Abba pop group singer Benny Andersson’s Irish-bred daughter Beatrice Aurore (Danehill Dancer-Mondschein, by Rainbow Quest) won the €80,000 (A$110,000) Gr3 Prix Chloe (1800m) for 3YO fillies at Chantilly. Beatrice Aurore (ridden by Olivier Peslier for trainer John Dunlop) defeated favoured UK-bred Peinture Abstraite (Holy Roman Emperor-Peinture Bleue, by Alydar) & fellow Irish-bred Dream Peace (Dansili-Truly A Dream, by Darshaan). Beatrice Aurore now has 4 wins (also including May’s UK Listed Height Of Fashion Stakes over 10 furlongs at Goodwood) from 6 starts.
