In Malaysia, 9 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Penang:

  • 3YO gelding Bring It On (State City-Keys To Heaven, by Key Business) won over 1200m for trainer Keng Chong Leong. Bring It On was a $5,250 yearling consigned by Alwyn Park at the Magic Millions Perth Autumn Yearling Sale.
  • 6YO entire Wu Jin (Waterford Road-Bestori, by Vettori) won over 1700m for trainer Yoon Nam Liew. Wu Jin was a $4,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Summer Sale & subsequently a $17,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Satisfaction (Royal Academy-Wide Vision, by Danehill) won over 1400m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. Satisfaction was a $60,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Touessrock (Rock Of Gibraltar-Silk, by Barathea) won over 1200m for trainer John Brink. Touessrock was a $200,000 yearling consigned by Devon Park at the 2007 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
  • 4YO entire Farrand (King Cugat-Happy Play, by Barathea) won over 1100m for trainer Douglas Dragon. Farrand was a $25,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Will Power (State City-Nemchinova, by Dauberval) won over 1700m for trainer Kong Fatt Wong. Will Power was a $10,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Perth Sale.
  • 3YO gelding New Dawn (Shovhog-Champagne Gold, by Made Of Gold) won over 1200m for trainer Katherine Hughes. New Dawn was a $30,000 yearling consigned by Raheen Stud at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Yearling Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Breadwinner (El Moxie-Edgecliff, by Sea Anchor) won over 1200m for trainer David Kok. Breadwinner was a $42,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Autumn Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Free Gift (Tale Of The Cat-Pimpinella, by Flying Spur) won over 1400m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. Free Gift was a $90,000 yearling consigned by Willow Park as agent at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale.
