1st Winner For Japan Freshman Admire Moon

In Japan, multiple Gr1-winning 8YO freshman stallion & former Horse-Of-The-Year Admire Moon (End Sweep-My Katies, by Sunday Silence) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Mahogany (Admire Moon-Morouj, by Gone West) scored over 1000m at Monbetsu. During 2007 Admire Moon won the Gr1 Japan Cup (2400m) at Tokyo & Gr1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) at Hanshin, as well as the Gr1 Dubai Duty Free (1777m) at Nad Al Sheba & Japan's Gr2 Kyoto Kinen (2200m) at Kyoto, plus finishing 3rd in Hong Kong's Gr1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup (2000m) at Sha Tin; the previous year Admire Moon also won 2006's Gr2 Yayoi Sho (2000m) & Gr3 Kyodo News Service Hai (1800m), as well as notching Gr1-placings in both the Gr1 Tenno Sho-Autumn (2000m) & Gr1 Hong Kong International Cup (2000m). Admire Moon stands at Darley Japan for ¥3.5 million (A$40,600).
