UK Derby Winner North Light Moves To Stud In Canada

Also in Canada, Gr1 English Derby-winning 9YO stallion North Light (Danehill-Sought Out, by Rainbow Quest) is moving from Adena Spring in Kentucky to “stand next season as part of an 8-strong line-up at Frank Stronach’s new Ontario-based stallion operation Adena Springs North,” reported racingpost.com. North Light (the only Epsom Derby winner at stud in North America) has spent the past 5 seasons at Adena Kentucky & covered 50 mares this year at US$10,000. Joining North Light at the 500-acre farm just north of Toronto is Gr1 Hollywood Gold Cup winner Mast Track (Mizzen Mast-Nawal, by Homme De Loi) “who will be a new addition to the stallion ranks next year”, plus established Adena Springs stallions Giant Gizmo (Giant’s Causeway-Golden Antigua, by Hansel), Milwaukee Brew (Wild Again-Ask Anita, by Wolf Power), Singing Saint (El Prado-Relaxing Rhythm, by Easy Goer), Showing Up (Strategic Mission-Miss Alethia, by T.V. Commercial) & Wilko (Awesome Again-Native Roots, by Indian Ridge).
