  • 3YO gelding Sky Link (Hussonet-Nimphidia, by Nijinsky II) won over 1400m at Greyville for trainer Mike de Kock.
  • 3YO colt Arabian Empire (Anabaa-Arabian Lass, by Al Mufti) won over 1600m at Durbanville for trainer Glen Kotzen.
  • 4YO gelding Royal Arrow (Royal Academy-Whirligig, by Brief Truce) won over 2200m at Turffontein for trainer Geoff Woodruff. Royal Arrow was a $70,000 yearling consigned by Rheinwood Pastoral at the 2008 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 4YO mare Touch The Moon (Untouchable-Mount The Moon, by Mighty Avalanche) won over 1400m at Greyville overnight for trainer Duncan Howells. Touch The Moon was a $14,000 yearling consigned from Avoca Park at the 2008 Magic Millions Perth Sale.
