Tuesday, 5th October 2010

Former Darley shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a juvenile black-type success when Sheikh Mohammed's favoured colt Sepoy (Elusive Quality-Watchful, by Danehill) scored a 1-length victory on debut in the $125,000 Listed Maribyrnong Trial Stakes (1000m) for 2YOs at Flemington. Sepoy (ridden by Mark Zahra for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated fellow colt Delago's Lad (Delago Brom-Simulation, by Snaadee) & the gelding Stop Sookin' (Dangerous-Shutrice, by Keltrice).
