US 5YO freshman sire Waiting Game (Carson City-Taking It Easy, by Danzig) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Joan Kardoo (Waiting Game-Diamond Venture, by Adventure Road) scored by 3-lengths over 5 furlongs at Emerald Downs for trainer Vince Gibson, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Unraced Waiting Game stood the 2008 season at Gibson Thoroughbred Farm in Washington. His winning dam Taking It Easy is a full-sister to Gr1-winner Easy Now, as well as a half-sister to both classic winner & 1988 champion 2YO male Easy Goer & also to Gr1-winner Cadillacing. Other "notable members of the family include 1981 champion older mare Relaxing, Gr1-winning sire Strolling Along & multiple graded stakes-winner Cat Cay."
