4 Metro 3YO Winners For Flying Spur

Ever-consistent 16-year-old Arrowfield Stud stallion & former Australian champion sire Flying Spur (Danehill-Rolls, by Mr Prospector) sired 4 metropolitan 3YO winners yesterday:

  • 3YO filly Flying Angel (Flying Spur-Academy Angel, by Royal Academy) won over 1200m at Belmont Park in Perth for trainer Neville Parnham. Flying Angel was a $50,000 yearling consigned by Ealing Park at the 2007 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne.
  • 3YO colt Prince of Silk (Flying Spur-Peau De Soie, by Barathea) also won over 1200m at Belmont Park for trainer Neville Parnham. Prince Of Silk was a $70,000 yearling consigned by Erinvale Thoroughbreds at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 3YO colt Naku Penda (Flying Spur-Bal Des Sirenes, by Warning) won over 1200m at Moonee Valley in Melbourne for trainer David Hayes.
  • 3YO filly Avionics (Flying Spur-Synopsis, by Star Way) won over 1600m at Moonee Valley for trainer Robbie Griffiths. Avionics was a $150,000 yearling consigned by Fulmen Park at the 2007 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne.
