5 Aust-Breds Win In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 5YO gelding Lucky Red (Shagny-Tylin, by Dolphin Street) won over 1000m for trainer Gary Ng.
  • 8YO gelding Triumph (Desert Sun-Wising Up, by Smarten) won over 1600m for trainer Dennis Yip. Triumph was a $70,000 yearling consigned by Eliza Park at the 2002 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 7YO gelding That's It (Snippets-La Plume, by Sir Tristram) won over 1200m for trainer Andy Leung. That's It was a $100,000 yearling at the 2003 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 5YO gelding Namjong Sky (Anglia-City Crown, by Al Hareb) won over 1400m for Australian trainer David Hall. Namjong Sky was a $26,000 yearling consigned by Raheen Stud at the 2005 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Sunny Golf (Orientate-Indexed, by Marauding) won over 1200m for trainer John Moore. Sunny Golf was a $210,000 yearling consigned by Bellerieve Stud at the 2006 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
