Hairy Wins Sheraco Stakes

Former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Fuji Kiseki (Sunday Silence-Millracer, by Le Fabuleux) added a black-type success when 5YO mare Hairy (Fuji Kiseki-Final Waltz, by Danehill) scored a half-length victory in the $100,000 Listed Sheraco Stakes (1100m) for fillies & mares at Rosehill. Hairy (ridden by Jeff Lloyd for trainer David Payne) defeated fellow 5YO mares Judged (High Yield-Adjourn, by Waajib) & Interfere (Royal Academy-Bletchwyn, by Bletchingly). Hairy (a 20,000 yearling at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney) now has 6 wins & 4 placings (including March's Listed Wiggle Stakes over 1400m at Randwick & 2007's Listed Pacesetter Handicap over 1200m at Gosford) from 14 starts for $201,060 earnings.
