Doncaster Yearlings Day-2: Average Down 4.9%

Overall on Day-2 at Doncaster, 133 yearlings sold for £5,036,500 (A$10.576m) which was down 17.9% on last year's 154 sold for £6,134,205 (A$12.881m). The Day-2 average of £37,868 (A$79,000) was down 4.9% on last year's £39,832 (A$84,000) while the median of £30,000 (A$63,000) was down 4.8% from last year's £31,500 (A$66,000). Doncaster Bloodstock managing director Henry Beeby declared this was "another cracking day full of competitive duels for the better horses".
