11 Aust-breds Win In Singapore

In Singapore, 11 Australian-breds won at Kranji:

  • 4YO gelding Brilliant Knight (Octagonal-Aspreys, by Canny Lad) won over 1400m for Australian trainer Len Treloar.
  • 6YO gelding World Excellence (Jeune-She's A Soda, by Noalcoholic) won over 1400m for trainer Brian Dean. World Excellence was a $30,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Autumn Sale in Melbourne.
  • 4YO gelding Mt Edge Combe (Johannesburg-Ligure, by Brocco) won over 1200m for trainer Patrick Shaw. Mt Edge Combe was a $140,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Leading General (Mull Of Kintyre-Final Shot, by Sovereign Red) won over 1600m for trainer Laurie Laxon. Leading General was a $14,500 yearling consigned by Ilala Stud at the 2006 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Golden Flame (Langfuhr-Romeril, by Papal Power won over 1600m for trainer Len Treloar. Golden Flame was a $40,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Classic Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Drovetti (Mossman-Claretta, by Roberto) won over 1200m for Australian trainer Steven Burridge.
  • 4YO gelding Quick Sand (Sandtrap-Irish Edition, by O'Reilly) won over 1200m for trainer Patrick Shaw. Quick Sand was a $10,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently a $100,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding So Majestic (King's Best-So Explicit, by Straight Strike) won over 1200m for trainer Cliff Brown. So Majestic was a $42,500 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Grant's Success (Spinning World-Lady Guest, by What A Guest) won over 1200m for trainer Michael Clements. Grant's Success was a NZ$16,000 yearling at the 2004 NZB Summer Sale & subsequently a NZ$70,000 2YO at the 2004 NZB Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Watch The Crab (Eternity Range-Sense Of Style, by Centaine) won over 1400m for trainer M.Yusof. Watch The Crab was a $37,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Superb (High Yield-Love Dream, by Fairy King) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Meagher. Superb was a $30,000 yearling at the 2006 NZB Premier Sale.
