Triple Honour Wins Premiere Stakes

Former Widden Stud & now Hollylodge Thoroughbreds stallion Honours List (Danehill-Gold Script, by Script Ohio) added a group success when favoured 4YO gelding Triple Honour (Honours List-Myrrh, by Nassipour) returned from a 16-weeks spell to score a 0.75-lengths victory in the $150,000 weight-for-age Gr2 Premiere Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. Triple Honour (ridden by Glen Boss for trainer Chris Waller) defeated 7YO gelding Captain Bax (Snippets-Snow Finch, by Storm Bird) & 5YO gelding Reigning To Win (King Of Kings-Secret Liaisons, by T V Heart Throb). Triple Honour (a $50,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney) now has 6 wins (also including April's Gr1 Doncaster Handicap over 1600m at Randwick) & a runner-up (in the Gr1 Royal Randwick Guineas over 1600m at Randwick) from 10 starts for $1,486,910 earnings.
