Anabaa Adds German Stakes Success

Widden Stud shuttler Anabaa (Danzig-Balbonella, by Gay Mecene) was responsible for further black-type success courtesy of victory by 3YO colt Alaska River (Anabaa-Ariosta, by Scenic) in the Listed Bremer Sprint (1200m) on turf at Bremen in Germany's north-west. Beaten 1.25 lengths into 2nd was 7YO entire Key To Pleasure (Sharp Prod-Key To Love, by Alzao), followed by 4YO mare Zoom (Lomitas-Zizi Top, by Robellino). Earlier this month Alaska River raced away to an 8-lengths victory in the €20,000 (A$32,000) Listed Kolner Herbst Sprint-Preis (1400m) at Cologne.
