Monday, 19th November 2007

Former Lindsay Park shuttler & French Gr1 winner Indian Danehill (Danehill-Danse Indienne, by Green Dancer) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when 4YO mare Zip Baby Zip (Indian Danehill-Kids, by Rustic Amber) gained the judge's verdict in a 3-way photo-finish to the $100,000 Listed Summoned Stakes (1500m) for mares 4YO & up at Sandown. Zip Baby Zip (ridden by Kerrin McEvoy for trainer Byron Cozamanis) scored by a neck from top-weighted 6YO mare Like It Is (Distorted Humo-Out In Style, by Brave Regent) with a further long-neck to fellow 4YO mare El Pauji (Flying Spur-Tambara, by Thunder Gulch). Zip Baby Zip now has 4 wins & 8 placings (including last start's Listed Liberty Financial Stakes over 1400m at Flemington on November 6) from 18 starts for $194,910 earnings.
