Royal Academy Adds UK Stakes Success

Wednesday, 4th July 2007

Current Coolmore shuttler Royal Academy (Nijinsky-Crimson Saint, by Crimson Satan) added a UK stakes success when juvenile daughter Polar Circle (Royal Academy-Polar Bird, by Thatching) did just enough to win the Listed Express Stakes (6 furlongs) for 2YO fillies at Newmarket in England. Ridden by Jimmy Fortune for trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam, Polar Circle won by a neck from Tought Is Free (Cadeaux Genereux-Dayville, by Dayjur), with another 1.25-lengths to Highland Daughter (Kyllachy-Raysiza, by Alzao).
