In the US, 4YO entire Flashy Bull (Holy Bull-Iridescence, by Mt Livermore) made it 4 successive wins with victory by a head in the US$829,000 Gr1 Stephen Foster Handicap (9 furlongs) at Churchill Downs in Kentucky. Flashy Bull (ridden by Robby Albarado for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin) defeated fast-finishing multiple graded stakes-winning 5YO Magna Graduate (Honor Grades-Peacock Alley, by Fast Play) & previously undefeated Gr3-winner Diamond Stripes (Notebook-Romantic Summer, by On To Glory). At his previous start, Kentucky-bred Flashy Bull (a US$205,000 buy at the 2005 OBSC February 2YOs-In-Training Sale) won the Gr3 William Donald Schaefer Handicap at Pimlico on May 19; overall he now has 5 wins (plus runner-up in 2006's Gr2 Fountain Of Youth Stakes over 9 furlongs at Gulfstream Park) from 18 starts for US$829,313 earnings.
