Thursday, 22nd February 2007

Mudgee trainer Tracey Bartley told The Sydney Morning Herald an offer (reported to be $1 million from Hong Kong) had been turned down for 3YO gelding Sniper's Bullet (Bite The Bullet-Yallah Terrace, by Yallah Prince) which will clash with top sprinting filly Gold Edition in Saturday's Gr2 Hobartville Stakes over 1400m at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney. Sniper's Bullet boasts 5 wins & 2 placings (including last start in the Gr2 Royal Sovereign Stakes over 1200m at Randwick on February 10) from 7 starts for $194,100 prize-money & Bartley confirmed: "I'm just very fortunate I have owners that want to see their horses race in Australia."
