Historic Trifecta For Show A Heart

Tuesday, 6th February 2007

The runaway 4.5-lengths victory by undefeated juvenile filly Crossyourheart (Show A Heart-Red Century, by Centaine) in NZ's richest 2YO race, the weekend's NZ$500,000 Listed NZB Classique (1200m) at Te Rapa, has catapulted her Queensland-based Glenlogan Park stallion Show A Heart (Brave Warrior-Miss Sandman, by Regal Advice) into history. Following last month's victory by another of his juvenile fillies Mimi Le Brock (Show A Heart-God Love It, by St Covet) in Australia's $1 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) at the Gold Coast, Show A Heart (last season's Australian champion 1st-season sire) now boasts the distinction of officially leading the 2YO Sires tables in both Australia & NZ, as well as completely dominating the 2nd Season Sires table in Australia (which does not include NZ prize-money). No stallion has ever simultaneously led all 3 tables. In addition, Show A Heart already has 7 stakes-performers: a figure sure to rise & with the larger numbers & better quality mares covered in his 3rd, 4th & 5th seasons.
