Bachir Moves To Brousses In France

In Europe, dual Gr1-winning 10-year-old stallion Bachir (Desert Style-Morning Welcome, by Be My Guest) "is to relocate to Haras des Brousses in central France following 5 seasons at stud in Japan," reported thoroughbredinternet.com. As a 2YO racing for Godolphin, Bachir won the UK Gr2 Richmond Stakes plus placings in both the French Gr1 Prix Morny & Gr1 Prix de la Salamandre; as a 3YO he won both the French Gr1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains (2000 Guineas) & Irish Gr1 2000 Guineas. He retired initially to Kildangan Stud in 2001 & then moved to the Darley Stallion Station in Japan the following season.
