Rewaaya Half-Sister Born At Yarraman

A half-sister by Arrowfield Stud current champion Australian sire Redoute's Choice to recent Gr1-winning 4YO mare Rewaaya (Singspiel-Nasmah, by At Talaq) has been born at Yarraman Park. Rewaaya's mother Nasmah (owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum's Shadwell Stud) is a permanent border at Yarraman. Rewaaya (who boasts 5 wins & 5 placings from 14 starts for $682,030) won the Gr1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield in September & followed-up last start with a long-neck 2nd in the Gr1 Toorak Handicap (1600m) at Caulfield on October 14; this Saturday she will tackle the Gr1 Myer Classic (1600m) at Flemington. Her previous highlights also include victory in the Gr3 Let's Elope Stakes (1400m) at Flemington on September 9 & placings in the Gr1 Australia Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley in February & 2005 Gr1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Caulfield, plus both the Gr3 South Pacific Classic (1400m) at Randwick & Listed Darby Munro Stakes (1300m) at Rosehill in April.
