Invincible Spirit Northern Fee Up 250%

In Europe, 1st Season sire sensation & Chatswood Stud shuttler Invincible Spirit (Green Desert-Rafha, by Kris) will stand at the 2007 Northern Hemisphere at the County Kildare-based Irish National Stud for €35,000 (A$56,000) reported racingpost.co.uk. That's a 250% increase on his previous €10,000 (A$16,000) fee for this year's run-away 1st-Crop leader (by both winners & prize-money) who boasts 26 winners in Britain & Ireland (headed by UK Gr2 Gimcrack Stakes victor Conquest & last weekend's French Gr2 Criterium De Maisons-Lafitte winner Captain Marvelous). Also on the Irish National Stud roster, former Alwyn Park Stud shuttler Verglas (Highest Honor-Rahaam, by Secreto) has had his fee increased 50% from €10,000 (A$16,000) to €15,000 (A$24,000); his 1st Irish-bred crop will be yearlings in 2007. And Australian champion international sprinter Takeover Target's sire & former Collingrove shuttler Celtic Swing (Damister-Celtic Ring, by Welsh Pageant) has also had his fee increased to €10,000 (A$16,000).
