Unbridled's Song Up 33% & Forestry Up 25%

Meanwhile Kentucky's Taylor Made Farm announced overnight that "the 2 stallions it stands for 6-figures will both have stud fee increases for the 2007 season," reported bloodhorse.com. Unbridled's Song (Unbridled-Trolley Song, by Caro) will jump 33% from US$150,000 to US$200,000 while Forestry (Storm Cat-Shared Interest, by Pleasant Colony) will increase from US$100,000 to US$125,000. Unbridled's Song recently sired his 50th stakes-winner & ranks 17th on the list of leading US sires for 2006 by progeny earnings; he is represented this year by 10 stakes-winners including Gr1-winner Magnificent Song. Forestry has sired 23 stakes-winners from 4 crops of racing age & currently ranks 20th on the list of leading sires by progeny earnings; he is represented this year by top 3YO Discreet Cat (unbeaten in 5 starts including a win in this month's Gr2 Jerome Breeders' Cup Handicap). Among Taylor Made's other sires: Forest Danger will remain at US$20,000; Southern Image will again stand for US$15,000; & Northern Afleet will stand for US$15,000 (down 25% from US$20,000 this year).
