UK Trainer Cumani Upbeat On Melb Cup Raiders

And UK-based trainer Luca Cumani "has issued an upbeat bulletin about his Australian raiders Glistening & Soulacroix, both of whom have spent a week in quarantine at Sandown racecourse in Melbourne," reported racingpost.co.uk. Of the Paul Makin-owned pair, Soulacroix "is expected to step out first in the Geelong Cup, while Glistening is expected to head straight to the Melbourne Cup without a prep". Cumani summed up: "My wife & daughter are currently in Australia supervising Glistening & Soulacroix, & both are doing well."
