Gran Estreno Wins Argentina Gr1 Jockey Club

In South America, the colt Gran Estreno (Lucky Roberto-Great Stampa, by Senor Pete) grabbed victory by a head in Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio Jockey Club (2000m on turf & 2nd leg of Argentina's Triple Crown) for 3YOs at Hipodromo San Isidro in Buenos Aires. Gran Estreno (ridden by Rodrigo Blanco for trainer Carlos Daniel Etchechoury) defeated Gr2-winner Bizardo Sam (Alrassaam-Fat Farm, by Pleasant Colony) with a further head to favoured Gr1-winner Visa Parade (Parade Marshal-Visalia, by Ahmad). Gran Estreno now has 2 wins from 8 starts (plus a last start runner-up in Argentina's Gr2 Clasico Ensayo on September 23).
