Three Chimneys To Stand Flower Alley In 2007
Exciting US stallion prospect Flower Alley (Distorted Humour-Princess Olivia, by Lycius) is set to make his stud debut at Kentucky's Three Chimneys Farm early next year. But, according to thoroughbredtimes.com, that's not until he has a chance to add to the US$2,533,910 he has already earned on the track when he makes "his next and, perhaps, final start in the Gr1 Breeders' Cup Classic at Churchill Downs on November 4." Flower Alley finished runner-up in the event last year. Owned by leviathan owner Eugene Melnyk, Flower Alley's career highlight to date came in the Gr1 Travers Stakes. Purchased by Melnyk for US$165,000 at the 2003 Keeneland September Sale, Three Chimneys Farm has acquired a 50% share in the 4YO entire.
