Hurried Choice Wins Gimcrack Stakes

Coolmore 1st-season sire Choisir (Danehill Dancer-Great Selection, by Lunchtime) recorded a juvenile black-type success when debutante daughter Hurried Choice (Choisir-Hustle Bustle, by Catrail) scored a 0.75-lengths victory in the $80,000 Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) for 2YO fillies at Randwick. Hurried Choice (ridden by Michael Rodd for trainer David Payne) defeated fast-finishing fellow debutante fillies Miss Argyle (Iglesia-Precious Pearl, by Semipalatinsk) & Superfly (Rock Of Gibraltar-Allez France, by Hennessy). Hurried Choice was a $150,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions January Sale on the Gold Coast & earned $52,000 for her initial victory.
