Life's A Bounty Wins Seymour Cup

The 5YO entire Life's A Bounty (Bahamian Bounty-Imposing Life, by Imposing) won yesterday's $128,000 Listed Seymour Cup (1600m). Life's A Bounty (ridden by Luke Currie for trainer Dan O'Sullivan) defeated 6YO gelding Stamen (Rubiton-Decorating, by Hegemony) & 5YO gelding Requisite (Yamanin Vital-Anna, by Random Chance). Life's A Bounty (a $20,000 yearling at the 2002 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale) had finished runner-up in his previous 3 races; overall he now has 4 wins & 10 placings in 34 starts for over $238,000 prize-money. His 11-year-old sire Bahamian Bounty (Cadeaux Genereux-Clarentia, by Ballad Rock) formerly shuttled to Eliza Park Stud in Australia but is now permanently based at England's National Stud in Newmarket.
