Vinery's champion Australian 1st Season Sire More Than Ready (Southern Halo-Woodman's Girl, by Woodman) continues to make an impact world-wide with 5 individual stakes horses last weekend:

  • 3YO filly More Than Promised (More Than Ready-Sacred Promise, by Blushing John) became his 16th individual stakes-winner with victory in the US Listed Marie Debartalo Breeders' Cup Oaks (8.5 furlongs on turf) at Louisiana Downs.
  • 3YO gelding Ready For Roses notched his 2nd successive US stakes victory in the Best Of Ohio Stakes (10 furlongs) at Beulah Park.
  • 3YO Ready Ruler (already a stakes-winner of the El Jovan Stakes) finished runner-up by a nose in the US Listed Donnie Wilhite Memorial Stakes (1 mile on turf) at Louisiana Downs (& has now featured in the placings in 6 stakes races).
  • 3YO colt Perfectly Ready (More Than Ready-Elle Duccio, by Danehill) finished 2nd in Australia's Listed Concept Sports Stakes (1410m) at Flemington; in 6 starts he now has 2 wins plus placings in both last year's Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes & this season's Gr1 Manikato Stakes.
  • 2YO filly Wiener (More Than Ready-Snippets' Lass, by Snippets) finished 3rd in the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) at Randwick.
